WE’VE BEEN SHORTLISTED! - Mumbrella CommsCon Awards 2017
Neon Black are proud to announce we have been shortlisted for a Mumbrella CommsCon Award for ‘Launch or Relaunch Campaign of the Year’ for our work with Natural Solar and the Tesla Powerwall during 2016.
Over the course of this 12-month campaign, Neon Black worked to position Natural Solar as a trusted market and industry leader of battery power, as well as a premier installer of the Tesla Powerwall.
This campaign aimed to educate the Australian public on renewable energy, the benefits of battery power and the types of Australians who adopted battery power.
The core idea used Natural Solar customers as the face of battery power in Australia and worked to position the company as an industry and market leader, whilst educating consumers in an interesting way. The selection of real-life consumer case studies to act as brand advocates and ambassadors was crucial to the success of this campaign and acted as a big driver of consumer interest and trust in Natural Solar.
Natural Solar conducted the first installation of a Tesla Powerwall in Australia in January 2016 and achieved worldwide media interest and attention.
Key media touch points included:
First installation of a Tesla Powerwall in Australia
First commercial Tesla Powerwall in Australia
First power bill
Multiple Powerwall installations at one location
South Australian blackouts
Localised stories in rural and remote areas, and first in state installations
Case studies and success of installations
